We are an 18+ community of POC (Black, Asian and mixed) sapphics (lesbian, bi, pan and more!) based in Birmingham. For Us, By Us! We are absolutely open to all POC sapphics all over the country - many girls travel for our events! 

We organise social and creative evnts in a safe and inclusive space, where people can build genuine connections. We are completely free to join. 

Our community was founded to create a space for a minority group within the sapphic community! We aim to create a safe space to build connections centred around the intersection of our cultural and sapphic experiences, away from drinking and partying culture - though we love a party!

The community chats primarily through WhatsApp. That's where you'll find events annoucements, chat with other members, and join interest-based groups (like our fitness and creative chats!). Event announcements are also made on our Instagram and TikTok accounts.

We have a few regular events, which are all ticket-based. Tickets can be purchased through our website. Pop-up events (e.g. our Sapphic Walks) are usually not ticket-based and are posted on our social media pages. Other special events are organised according to venue availability and seasonal activities! All upcoming events will be posted on our website and social media pages.

Most of our events happen in Birmingham. Occasionally, events are organised outside of Birmingham (like our beach trip to Barry Island!). Lots of members join us from across the West Midlands, and lots of members across the UK join our WhatsApp chats, so don't worry if you're travelling in!
